*** For the sake of speed, these departments are temporarily also accepting resumes and links to websites via email. If we can’t access your work, or if it’s too big to download quickly, we may still ask you to resubmit your demo via the methods listed above.
Never send your demo as an email attachment. Actually, we’d rather not get any attachments at all. If you’re sending us a link to your site or a copy of your resume, please include it in the body of your email, and not as an attachment.
Please do not call us about your demo reel.
Demos flood in here at an alarming rate, and we can’t respond to every one. We will hold on to the ones we really like. If we think your demo is extra special we’ll keep it in our special place… and when we have a chance to put your skills to good use, we’ll contact you (probably when you least expect it – it’s more fun that way) and ask for more information. Please don’t keep calling to find out if we liked your demo, or we’ll end up spending all day on the phone and won’t have any time left to make cool stuff.
When we look at demos, we’re looking at the talent that’s demonstrated on them, not at the tools that were used. However, experience with some of the tools we use is definitely helpful. Tools we think are really keen include: Lightwave, Maya, Houdini, XSI, ZBrush, Photoshop, Painter, AfterEffects, Shake, and Comotion
